About the role

  • Head of HR managing personnel strategies and processes at a healthcare facility. Overseeing recruitment, employee retention, and collaboration with management and staff.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all HR management at the Bad Pyrmont site — from workforce planning and employment law matters to the further development of compensation systems and leading a dynamic HR department currently consisting of two HR staff members.
  • You ensure legally compliant, efficient HR processes.
  • In close coordination with the Commercial Director, you advise managers on all HR-related matters.
  • As part of the clinic management team, you develop a future-proof HR strategy with a focus on employee retention, recruiting and leadership development.
  • You conduct constructive collaboration with the works council on equal terms and represent the clinic in employment law matters.
  • Furthermore, you contribute to cross-site projects within the clinic group and help advance group-wide standards.
  • You deputize for the Commercial Director as needed and occasionally assume overall responsibility for the proper operation of a renowned specialist clinic.

Requirements

  • Degree with a focus on human resources or commercial vocational training with further HR-related qualifications
  • Several years of HR management experience, ideally in the healthcare sector
  • Strong communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to remain composed and resolute in challenging situations
  • Confident knowledge of employment law and experience working with works councils
  • A clear, values-oriented leadership style with conceptual strength and operational grounding (hands-on mentality)
  • Enthusiasm for further developing structures and actively supporting change processes
