About the role

  • Director of Global Events leading event strategy and execution for Emburse, a travel and expense solutions leader. Driving pipeline influence and managing a high-performance events team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline and revenue influence, advance the Expense Intelligence brand platform.
  • Deliver a unified, experience-led strategy across all regions and event tiers.
  • Lead a small, high-performance execution team and orchestrate a cross-functional ecosystem.
  • Establish the operating model, SOPs, and cross-team processes for consistent execution.
  • Own budget, vendor/venue governance, compliance, and event performance lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Marketing/Event Management preferred.
  • 7–10+ years in event/field marketing for B2B SaaS/technology; 2+ years people leadership.
  • Proven ownership of multi-region portfolios and flagship conferences with measurable pipeline and ROI impact.
  • Demonstrated experience leading governance across GTM-owned field teams and partner marketing.
  • Contract negotiation, SOW/SLAs, vendor management experience.
