About the role

  • Analyst managing legacy systems and integrations at Embracon. Collaborating on system improvements and supporting system functionality and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage legacy systems and third-party systems
  • Maintain the documentation portfolio for systems
  • Ensure portability requirements defined by the system maintainer
  • Ensure system availability
  • Analyze and evaluate new functionalities related to the systems
  • Implement new functionalities or modules related to the systems
  • Provide corrections for critical incidents
  • Participate in Change Management meetings and present relevant notes for changes related to the systems team
  • Monitor and apply fixes to integrations between legacy systems and third-party systems
  • Configure legacy systems and third-party systems
  • Perform system configuration for legacy and third-party systems
  • Validate configurations in test or staging environments
  • Apply configurations in Production environments
  • Ensure systems operate correctly after configuration changes
  • Update or create documentation related to system configuration
  • Manage access to legacy systems and third-party systems
  • Map access by role/function
  • Grant and revoke access
  • Review access audit logs
  • Configure access audit logging
  • Build access design reports
  • Prepare presentations for access audits
  • Perform system upgrades for legacy and third-party systems
  • Gather requirements related to version upgrades
  • Obtain consultative or operational support from the maintainer of legacy and third-party systems
  • Execute version upgrades following the system maintainer's guidelines
  • Create a communication plan and inform stakeholders using systems undergoing upgrades
  • Develop queries to analyze incidents and propose improvements
  • Manage database processes linked to systems and their integrations
  • Develop queries for management reports
  • Ensure continuous improvement of systems
  • Keep staging and development environments updated according to system and business needs
  • Manage problems
  • Participate in Kaizen meetings
  • Investigate root causes of problems
  • Assist in developing action plans
  • Execute actions defined in the action plan
  • Define permanent or temporary solutions to address problems
  • Produce evidence of problem resolution
  • Manage changes
  • Assess the need for changes
  • Open change records, defining the change type (normal or emergency)
  • Define the execution plan and coordinate activities with change executors
  • Participate in the Change Deliberation Committee
  • Perform tests and fixes in staging environments
  • Collect evidence from staging and production environments and attach it to the change record
  • Formalize acceptance by approving the change acceptance criteria
  • Execute rollback plans for staging and/or production environments
  • Manage tasks and activities
  • Participate in projects related to legacy systems and third-party systems
  • Participate in initiatives from the innovation team related to legacy and third-party systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields
  • Knowledge of and experience with ITIL best practices
  • Expertise with systems
  • Proven experience in systems support/maintenance
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL for building queries
  • Programming logic
  • Experience with Topdesk or similar tools
  • Knowledge of electronic signature platforms
  • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering
  • Proven experience with AI agents
