About the role

  • Vertriebs-Projektmanager overseeing technical projects for automotive clients. Planning and executing client projects, enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring quality management.

Responsibilities

  • Project management: Planning, controlling, monitoring and execution of technical customer projects (quality, deadlines, costs, budget)
  • Proposal management: Technical assessment of inquiries and support in preparing proposals
  • Customer care: Maintaining and expanding customer relationships; identifying cross- and up‑selling opportunities
  • Negotiation: Independently conduct negotiations within delegated authority; contract management
  • Interface role: Close cooperation with engineering, procurement, production and external partners
  • Reporting: Regular status reports to the sales management and executive management
  • Responsibility: Full accountability for overall projects regarding components and processes (quality, deadlines, costs, budget)

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Industry knowledge within the automotive environment (VDA 6.3, IATF, etc.)
  • Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Strong customer orientation, entrepreneurial mindset and a structured, solution‑oriented way of working
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Initial leadership experience desirable
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit and natural authority
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours
