About the role

  • Director of Food & Beverage managing daily operations and events at a prestigious restaurant in Geneva. Collaborating with executive chef to ensure impeccable customer experience and managing team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all F&B activities on site: daily restaurant service, banquets, cocktails, events and VIP services
  • Works closely with the Executive Chef to ensure an impeccable customer experience
  • Ensures rigorous management of budgets, teams and quality standards
  • Orchestrates the organization of banquets, cocktail receptions and events
  • Manages, trains and supports staff
  • Ensures strict compliance with HACCP standards and internal procedures

Requirements

  • Solid experience in food & beverage leadership and management in a demanding environment
  • Comfortable with numbers and IT tools: administrative management, budget control, KPI monitoring and meticulous documentation
  • Natural leadership, exemplary conduct and strong service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel (daily restaurant operations + events)
  • Operational kitchen knowledge and a deep understanding of quality, production and service challenges
  • Hospitality diploma required (hotel school, Federal Certificate or equivalent)
  • Excellent command of French and English required
