About the role
- Lead Data Linkage Engineer overseeing complex data linkage initiatives for Federal projects in healthcare. Managing data security and compliance while collaborating with stakeholders for effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee data linkage projects involving large and complex datasets, data transfer, processing, and harmonization activities
- Ensure compliance with Federal security policies, procedures, and standards
- Develop and optimize linkage algorithms and evaluate linkage accuracy using statistical metrics
- Provide risk management, quality assurance, and maintain data security for Federal datasets
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written communication
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as project or task lead
- 2+ years of experience with data related projects, including maintaining data security for Federal datasets
- experience with statistical and analytical work, including evaluating linkage accuracy and optimizing algorithms
- experience with cloud services and data engineering
- experience leading tasks or projects at or for a Federal agency or organization
- knowledge of data linkage methodologies, including deterministic and probabilistic, including POI and PPRL
- knowledge of Federal security policies, procedures, and standards
- Doctorate degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Behavioral Research
