  • Process Engineer-in-Training at Nutrien focusing on mill process monitoring and troubleshooting. Collaborating with lab technicians and advancing projects in potash processing.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with operations to monitor and troubleshoot the mill process.
  • Perform unit operation and circuit mass balances.
  • Make recommendations on improvements to potash processing.
  • Work closely with lab and metallurgical technicians on work ranging from routine checks to the development and execution of large sampling campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to advance projects.

Requirements

  • Must have Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing Engineering Degree.
  • Knowledge of mass balancing and process simulation software.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and departments.
  • Capacity to think critically and solve complex problems.
  • Aptitude for identifying and mitigating hazards in the workplace.
  • Capable of adapting to changing timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated accountability.
  • Readiness to learn new skills and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Eligibility to register with APEGS.
