Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of Sales Managers and Sales Associates
  • Develop and execute effective sales and prospecting strategies
  • Build strong relationships with clients and licensees
  • Manage the portfolio of clients
  • Responsible for day to day management of Sales Managers and Sales Associates
  • Collaborate with the head of sales to foster a positive team culture
  • Provide coaching and support to sales managers during deal negotiation and closing processes
  • Spearhead the sales strategy for each client
  • Identify challenges and propose solutions to enhance overall sales strategy
  • Develop specific strategies tailored to the clients within your portfolio
  • Set the strategy for trade shows and attend key meetings as necessary
  • Review and approve prospecting lists
  • Work on complex contract negotiations and proposal development
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, licensing sales preferred
  • Focus on relationship building and nurturing rather than aggressive selling
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong understanding of client and licensee relationship and processes
  • Analytical mindset and ability to review and interpret data to drive action
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
