About the role
- Senior Product Consultant driving energy market transformation projects with e*star. Collaborating with clients on energy trading and risk management solutions and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Work together with key players in the European energy market
- Plan, realise and manage projects in the field of energy trading, risk management, sales trading, cloud hosting etc.
- Analyse business and IT processes, identify requirements and design trading solutions
- Improve how customers are using our solutions and optimize the customer’s individual setups
- Take over responsibility for customer satisfaction – you are the main contact for our customers
- Help developing our products in a changing and growing market
- Extend your knowledge about energy trading and trading technologies
- Support our sales team with your knowledge
Requirements
- A suitable work permit
- A degree in (business) informatics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business administration, or a comparable field or training
- Profound practical experience in project management, requirements engineering, business analysis, design and specification of trading solutions
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong teamwork capability, and an independent, very precise way of working
- A strong passion for IT; knowledge of hosting, cloud, infrastructure, SQL, databases, XML or development skills is a plus
- You enjoy tackling all project challenges to deliver and implement customer requirements
- Ideally some prior experience in energy/commodity trading and customer acquisition
- Very good English skills (C1 level)
- Good German language skills are a plus
