Director in Finance Litigation at DWF managing high-value finance litigation and advisory matters including fraud and mis-selling claims. Leading a team and contributing to business development initiatives.
Responsibilities
Where appropriate, lead and manage a caseload of complex finance litigation matters; otherwise act as the day-to-day lead on larger or more complex matters.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients on risk management, including the detection, prevention, and recovery of fraud-related losses; and the strategic handling of mis-selling waves, systems, procedures, and PR risk.
Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Take ownership of day-to-day management and supervision of cases in the team and the client reporting requirements.
Contribute to business development initiatives, including client pitches, thought leadership, and networking.
Requirements
8+ years PQE with a strong background in finance litigation.
Proven ability to manage large-scale actions.
Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to mentoring and team development.
Desirable It would be helpful, but it is not essential, to have experience in multi-jurisdictional disputes, High Court injunctions and commercial insolvency.
