About the role

  • Account Manager responsible for client success and revenue growth in SaaS energy solutions. Building relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • As an Account Manager, you will be the strategic owner of client accounts, ensuring long-term success and revenue growth.
  • Serve as a consultative advisor, building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding the account through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring DTN’s solutions continue to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a strategic consultant.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and business objectives.
  • Provide proactive recommendations, introducing new solutions that add value and drive engagement.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to uncover unmet needs.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize client offerings.
  • Negotiate contract renewals above a set threshold, ensuring continued success and profitability.
  • Continuously analyze accounts for new business opportunities, leveraging industry insights and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations
  • Strong understanding of the energy/refined fuels industry is preferred
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling
  • Self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to account management
  • Proficiency in SFDC software for tracking leads and managing pipelines
  • A consultative and professional approach to engaging with customers
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
