About the role
- Strategic/technical purchaser in charge of supplier relationships, negotiations, and sustainable procurement strategies. Managing complex procurement processes and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Using your procurement expertise, you will evaluate offers, conduct price negotiations, and review and finalize contracts.
- You will continuously look for cost-saving opportunities and develop measures to reduce expenses.
- You will be responsible for strategic, sustainable supplier management.
- In doing so, you will analyze and assess supplier performance and identify areas for optimization.
- For new product introductions, you will contribute to defining specifications and coordinate the necessary internal steps.
- You will enter prices and master data into the relevant systems and ensure the data remains up to date.
- You will coordinate product launches across the company in close collaboration with the relevant departments.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree with several years of professional experience in strategic/technical procurement of technically complex products
- Experience conducting supplier meetings independently, negotiating prices, and handling contract law
- Strong technical understanding
- Assertiveness and strong communication skills
- Fluent German language skills
