Responsibilities
Manage Trade Promotion Planning & Analytics: Maintain retailer planners and promotional events in Blue Planner, ensure compliance with trade guidelines, and generate reports on key business metrics for leadership teams.
Support Trade Accruals & Claims: Assist with accrual processes, review customer-specific trade claims, and collaborate with brokers to resolve pending claims efficiently.
System Oversight & Process Improvement: Oversee TPM system data integrity, troubleshoot user issues, provide training, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to align trade management processes, pricing performance, and system functionality.
Purchase Order & Spend Management: Facilitate trade-related purchase order requisitions in SAP, maintain documentation, and track actual vs. planned spend in Blue Planner.
Event & Trade Show Coordination: Manage trade show paperwork, maintain convention calendars, and support planning for special events and sales meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, preferred.
Specific knowledge of CPG trade promotion management (TPM) and trade promotion optimization (TPO) processes and systems, such as Blue Planner.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
1–2 years of experience in trade promotion management within a CPG/FMCG company.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
