About the role

Responsibilities
- Preparation for financial accounting: document management, preliminary review, reconciliations
- Invoice management: review of incoming invoices, preparation and execution of payments
- Support for payroll accounting: master data maintenance, preparing documents, communication with our payroll office
- Controlling activities: support in analyzing business performance metrics
- Forecasting: contributing to revenue, cost, and profit forecasts in collaboration with the events team and management
- Liquidity monitoring: ongoing tracking and assessment of cash flow, and contributing to liquidity planning
- General backoffice tasks: email management, contract filing & contract drafting, document organization
- Support for management: scheduling, research, project coordination
- Acting as a liaison to tax advisors, service providers, and internal teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in financial accounting or a comparable commercial/administrative role
- Degree in economics/business administration or completed commercial vocational training
- Solid experience with DATEV Unternehmen Online
- Technical affinity and understanding of digital processes and modern tools
- Excellent organizational skills and a structured, meticulous, and reliable working style
- Strong communication skills, discretion, and a sense of responsibility
- Confident user of Office applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Ideally based in Hamburg or Frankfurt to allow occasional joint coworking days
