About the role
- Product Owner responsible for the IT product 'Monitoring' in collaboration with internal clients and management. Leading product teams and optimizing IT system monitoring at Dräger.
Responsibilities
- Further develop the IT product "Monitoring" in cooperation with internal customers, management, and the product team
- Provide subject-matter leadership for the product team and strengthen its self-organization
- Advise the IT product organization, business units, and IT management on IT system monitoring topics
- Plan, manage, and monitor the product budget
- Monitor SLAs and product KPIs and continuously optimize the IT product
- Develop sourcing strategies (make-or-buy)
- Build and manage a global IT community focused on IT monitoring
- Expand and further develop various monitoring systems for end-to-end observability and modern cloud environments
- Manage service providers
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience with budget responsibility and (international) project responsibility
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, e.g. DevOps
- Extensive know-how in IT operations, especially for monitoring solutions such as Icinga 2, Grafana, Sakuli or comparable systems
- Familiarity with modern leadership concepts
- Business-fluent English
