About the role
- Experienced accountant supporting management in finance operations for a rapidly growing international consultancy. Managing bookkeeping, tax submissions, and expense reports with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Check, code and post all types of accounting documents
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Preparation of VAT advance returns (Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen)
- Processing travel expense and credit card reports
- Manage payment operations, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining vendor master data
- Careful and conscientious management of the entire accounting function
Requirements
- Completed commercial/vocational training (or equivalent) and 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting
- Strong affinity for numbers and excellent accounting knowledge
- Confident use of Google Workspace products and common accounting software such as DATEV
- Strong organizational skills and a focused, reliable, solution-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Fluent German and English skills
