About the role

  • Account Manager leading commercial relationships for mid-to-large London insurance clients using a SaaS platform. Focused on account retention, renewals, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of 5 to 8 strategic accounts, maintain account plans and track health metrics
  • Drive on-time renewals, prepare renewal proposals, and proactively mitigate churn risks
  • Identify, qualify and progress upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales; support commercial negotiations to close deals
  • Run quarterly business reviews, executive briefings and adoption workshops to demonstrate ROI and strengthen relationships
  • Act as the client advocate internally to influence product priorities, implementation timelines and support SLAs
  • Keep CRM updated, maintain accurate forecasts, and produce concise account health reports
  • Coordinate escalations and ensure timely resolution with Support and Professional Services

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in B2B account management, customer success or commercial roles
  • Proven track record managing renewals and contributing to account growth
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders across underwriting, broking, operations and IT
  • Highly organised, proactive, consultative, and relationship-driven
  • Familiarity with the London insurance market (insurers, Lloyd’s, brokers, MGAs) is highly desirable
  • Proficient with Hubspot, Salesforce or similar CRM, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint and basic reporting
