About the role

  • Support the UAE Growth Lead in identifying, tracking, and qualifying new business opportunities across priority sectors.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide intelligence that informs pursuit strategies.
  • Coordinate outreach and engagement with prospective clients and procurement teams, helping to maintain strong, professional relationships.
  • Manage the agency’s new business pipeline and ensure data accuracy within tracking tools.
  • Work closely with client and sector leads to support their prospecting and conversion efforts.
  • Support pitches and proposals from start to finish from RFP qualification to final presentations.
  • Liaise with creative, strategy, and client service teams to gather inputs and coordinate timelines.
  • Maintain and enhance the agency’s knowledge management and pursuit tracking systems.
  • Build and manage a content library of case studies, credentials, templates, biographies and insights for use across pitches.
  • Track and report pursuit performance metrics, including win/loss ratios, sector performance, and conversion trends.
  • Identify process improvements and help drive greater efficiency and collaboration within Operations and the UAE Growth lead.
  • Gather and synthesise insights on market developments, client movements, and industry trends to inform business strategy.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the UAE Growth Lead and senior leadership on performance, opportunities, and trends.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and client teams to align commercial data with business development activity.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to help shape the future-fit growth strategy of Edelman UAE.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in business development, marketing, or communications in UAE, deemed essential (agency or professional services experience preferred).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously.
  • Arabic language proficiency is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for crafting insightful business presentations.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office / Teams tools.
  • Experience of using AI in a day-to-day work environment to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn - comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of integrated communications disciplines (PR, digital, creative, strategy) is a strong advantage.
