Responsibilities
Managing the Modelling team within the National Ratemaking and Business Solutions Team for all commercial products nationally.
Collaborating closely with other National Ratemaking teams which includes responsibilities related to pricing, rate level, and business solutions for Ontario, Atlantic and Western regions.
Ensuring the development, implementation, and monitoring of an action plan for its administrative unit, in line with the strategic orientations of the company.
Implementing management and communication practices that promote change management, skills development, mobilization, talent retention and diversity.
Establishing and implementing modelling strategies for commercial lines property & liability and for commercial automobile products nationally.
Providing actuarial advice and expertise to the analysts of the team in the realization of business projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or in a related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
Experience in a management role
Experience in coaching and in a team lead role
Fellow of the CAS or FCIA
Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Knowledge in modeling and analytics
