About the role
- Non-financial risk data valorization advisor developing and utilizing reporting tools for governance and decision-making. Focused on improving non-financial risk management through data analysis and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and update reports and dashboards in Power BI, Jira (Structure and All-in-One Report) and Excel.
- Identify and analyze significant issues, diagnose their causes and make recommendations to contributors.
- Design and maintain one or more data marts.
- Review, analyze and manipulate data in accordance with Desjardins Group's systems and security practices.
- Develop automated update rules using Power Automate (Microsoft Flow).
- Establish working relationships with various contributors, including business and IT teams.
- Contribute to innovative initiatives and identify opportunities to improve data valorization practices in accordance with Desjardins Group's data governance framework.
- Implement development and governance best practices in line with changing industry and Desjardins standards.
- Support users and serve as a specialist advisor to improve processes and efficiency by automating and the selection and deployment of data management tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
- Proficiency with Power BI
- Knowledge of Power Automate
- Knowledge of Jira (AIO add-ons, Structure, Tempo)
- Expertise in SQL and DAX
- Expertise with Excel
