About the role

  • General Manager leading the caisse to meet market potential and member satisfaction. Responsible for strategic operations and employee management within Desjardins.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the board of directors by leading the caisse
  • Tap into the full market potential and meet the needs and expectations of members and clients
  • Responsible for the high-level strategic and operational management of the caisse
  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients
  • Develop and implement a business plan to meet the caisse’s performance targets
  • Manage employees and oversee their skills development
  • Ensure service quality and member/client satisfaction
  • Serve as contact person for your teams and provide advisory services and specific recommendations
  • Maximize the caisse's growth and performance and ensure optimal productivity
  • Be accountable for risk management and compliance activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
