About the role

  • Account Manager developing and maintaining relationships with big clients in the commercial sector at Desjardins. Focusing on promoting and selling products to grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, soliciting, developing, and maintaining business relationships with big strategic clients in the commercial sector
  • Act as an account manager serving as a key intermediary between the business centre and members and clients
  • Ensure proper usage and updating of products and services offered
  • Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend potential solutions
  • Identify member and client needs, develop personalized solutions and prepare an integrated service offering
  • Negotiate applicable conditions with members and clients
  • Recommend strategies for achieving business objectives such as increased volume and sound risk management
  • Use intelligence to identify business development opportunities
  • Execute various promotional activities
  • Participate in public relations activities and engage in the business community
  • Providing sound risk management for all portfolios

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
