About the role

  • Senior PCP Analyst responsible for production planning and control. Supporting production while collaborating with various departments at Dengo Chocolates.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for production planning and control, ensuring a balance between demand, production capacity and inventory levels. Will prepare and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), conducting periodic reviews (weekly and monthly) and daily follow-up of execution, ensuring adherence to the factory’s operational constraints.
  • Analyze nominal capacity vs. planned load, identifying risks of overload or idleness and proposing action plans together with the Production area. Also responsible for monitoring plant utilization indicators, supporting tactical and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor stocks of raw materials, inputs, intermediate products and packaging, ensuring compliance with defined policies and mitigating risks of expiry or obsolescence through preventive actions.
  • Plan and execute seasonal campaigns (Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Festas Juninas and other strategic dates), ensuring adherence to schedules defined by the company, and reporting status and risks to management and the board. Follow-up will be carried out with suppliers, also ensuring that the production plan is met.
  • At the end of each campaign, responsible for assessing leftovers and defining actions for clearance and disposal of obsolete materials (follow-up must be carried out both at the Santo Amaro factory and at third-party suppliers).
  • Monitor indicators such as adherence to the production plan, OTIF, coverage and tactical inventory, identifying deviations and structuring action plans together with the relevant areas.
  • Act as a link between Production, Marketing, Logistics, Purchasing, R&D, Quality and Supply, leading weekly forums to align the production plan, set priorities and mitigate risks, in addition to performing the explosion of raw material and input requirements to ensure production dates are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Economics or related fields.
  • Proven experience in Production Planning and Control (PPC/PCP).
  • Experience preparing and monitoring the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or consumer goods segment.
  • Advanced Excel for data analysis, KPIs and planning.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP (planning or logistics modules desirable).
  • Highly communicative profile with excellent interpersonal skills to act as a connection point between different areas.
  • Nice to have:

  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in the area.
