About the role
- IBM OpenShift Administrator/Engineer implementing and maintaining OpenShift environments and platforms for clients. Collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Implementation and operation of OpenShift environments and IBM OpenShift-based platforms
- Support in the design and deployment of customer-specific OpenShift platforms
- Handover of the platforms to the customer and the internal operations team for production operation
- Close collaboration with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams
- Creation of technical documentation
Requirements
- Knowledge of IBM OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK)
- Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
- Knowledge of network and security concepts
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Ideally Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- ITIL knowledge, preferably with an ITIL Foundation certification
