Bid Manager at DATAGROUP managing tender processes from kick-off to contract signing. Collaborating across departments to create customized offers meeting customer requirements.
Responsibilities
You take responsibility for individual tender processes from the internal kick-off meeting through to final contract award.
You ensure internal schedules are met, proposals are tailored to the customer, and submissions are delivered on time.
In close coordination with Sales, Presales, specialist departments, Legal and Finance, you develop bespoke proposals that optimally showcase DATAGROUP’s added value and IT expertise.
You coordinate internal approval processes and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are involved at an early stage.
You review all proposal documents for completeness, factual accuracy and compliance with legal, technical and regulatory requirements.
You manage relevant tender platforms and ensure that portfolio-relevant tenders are passed on to the appropriate specialist teams.
Requirements
Completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Computer Science, Communications or comparable vocational training (e.g., IT systems clerk / IT systems sales specialist)
Relevant experience in bid management or handling complex tender processes
Ideally experience in IT services, managed services, software or system integration
Confident user of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with various tender portals is an advantage
Strong organizational skills and a high degree of independence, sense of responsibility and quality awareness
Experience with public procurement processes is an advantage
Analytical thinking to assess customer requirements, market trends and tender data
Team player with initiative and enjoyment of working in a dynamic, project-driven environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical content in a clear and understandable way
