About the role

Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Reviewing, coding and posting incoming invoices
- Creating and maintaining vendor master data
- Resolving and reconciling supplier accounts
- Preparing regular payment runs
- Valuation and posting of provisions
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and managing fixed asset accounting
- Preparation and compilation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Supporting statutory audits and tax audits
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (ideally supplemented by further qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant - Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Solid IT and MS Office skills
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Attention to detail and high reliability
- Ability to work independently
- Strong service orientation toward external clients and other departments
- German language skills, written and spoken (min. B2)
