About the role

  • plan territory coverage
  • deliver a blended contact strategy
  • build strong business relationships with customers to achieve an annual territory sales target and personal performance objectives.
  • maximise results through delivering agreed priorities
  • set up and implement commercial business plans with customers within the designated territory area and in line with company objectives and policies.
  • day to day management of the territory, designated customers and Cooper Vision’s products and services.
  • develop and introduce new products to customers on behalf of the Company
  • ensure outstanding knowledge of Cooper Visions products, clinical and technical information, product strategy, market and commercial positioning
  • deliver training programmes to retail staff
  • organise and execute clinical training in liaison with the Professional Services team
  • form close relationships with Regional Managers and representatives within the account structure
  • represent the Company at seminars, exhibitions and meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience and track record in defining and achieving sales results.
  • Awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective, existing customers and others in a coaching style
  • Enviable track record of achievement (target achievements) gained from organizations that demonstrate and require strong interpersonal skills to influence at all levels of management.
  • Strong relationship builder with enhanced listening and coaching skills
  • Understanding of investigative questioning and sales process
  • Highly pro-active and able to work successfully alone as well as within a team to pre-determined objectives.
  • Ability to manage a large geographical sales area.
  • Works well under pressure
  • Experience in the optical industry preferable
  • Computer literacy including Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential.
