Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial automation market.
Collaborate with account managers to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and present technical solutions to customers.
Design and recommend automation solutions, including PLCs, drives, motion control, robotics, and industrial networking.
Analyze customer processes, provide guidance and assist with product selection, application design, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with vendors, integrators, and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and commissioning.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical training for customers and internal staff.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years in industrial automation sales or engineering; experience with end-users, OEMs and system integrators preferred.
Knowledge of PLC programming, VFDs, motion control, and industrial communication protocols.
Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider).
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
