Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Ensure customer satisfaction with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service.
Contact current customers and identify new products and up-selling opportunities.
Respond to and process incoming calls and orders.
Open new accounts.
Develop customer base and sales leads by making cold and warm calls.
Enter orders into the system.
Maintain knowledge base of current products and learn about new products.
Identify products that customers require that may not be stocked and source them.
Provide pricing quotations and follow up on quotes.
Handle purchasing (direct orders).
Counter sales (where applicable).
Shipping & Receiving - verify orders daily and fill-in if the shipper/receiver is absent (where applicable).
Handle credits/debits and returns as required.
Provide basic technical support on products.
Respond to inquiries and close orders.
Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Post Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
1-3 years related experience.
Product knowledge or industry experience preferred.
