About the role

  • Sales Development Representative responsible for engaging new clients and driving business growth for Contentsquare in Japan. Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies and understand customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop business opportunities through strategic outreach, including personalized emails, networking, industry events, and referrals
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including C-Level executives
  • Establish trust and credibility by becoming a subject matter expert in the industry and understanding the unique business needs of the Japanese market
  • Develop and execute a structured sales plan, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and accurate forecasting
  • Conduct market research to identify customer challenges and provide insights to internal teams for continuous improvement
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through consultative, relationship-driven sales strategies

Requirements

  • A strong drive to succeed and a proactive approach to business development
  • Minimum 1 year of successful sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B technology, SaaS, analytics, or CRM software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in Japanese and business-level English
  • Ability to adapt to Japan’s business culture, focusing on trust, long-term relationship building, and consultative sales approaches
  • A competitive mindset and a track record of success in any field (e.g., sports, academics, or other achievements)
