Junior Accounting Analyst assisting with accounting tasks and reporting for Constellation's operations in the Netherlands. Working within a hybrid setting to support the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing monthly reporting packages for the Dutch entities.
Assist with preparation and posting of the monthly Cost Sharing Agreement sales invoices.
Record monthly supplier invoices in the accounting system and generate purchase orders for approval by the Managing Director.
Maintain physical administration binders and ensure that all invoices recorded in the Dutch companies’ accounting are sorted by posting date as reflected in the companies’ General Ledger records.
Ensure physical accounting binders contain all documents required by Dutch rules and regulations.
Assist with preparation of quarterly VAT declaration summaries.
Support the annual audit process by collecting all documents and files required by the auditors for the Dutch entities.
Assist in sourcing and comparing supplier quotes for goods and services needed by the Dutch office. Act as the primary contact to ensure the process is approved by the Compliance and Finance teams in Brazil and Panama.
Assist in maintaining the DDQ supplier compliance form, ensuring it is updated annually.
Support the Managing Director with simple administrative tasks such as sorting incoming mail and ensuring all incoming mail is logged in the system and kept up to date.
Help keep the office organized and assist in procuring necessary supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, preferred.
Current professional license, if applicable.
Knowledge of accounting procedures and standards, with the ability to perform accounting analysis.
1+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills at multiple levels.
Team player and able to multitask.
Fluency in English and Dutch (spoken and written), with the confidence to communicate in a multicultural, multi-level environment. Portuguese is a plus.
