About the role

  • Accounting Coordinator at DeLeers Construction managing accounts payable and assisting in financial reports. Collaborating with finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable
  • Assisting in the processing of reports for financial statements
  • Working closely with the Assistant Controller and Project Financial Manager to prepare necessary reports for labor collection

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance or a business-related field
  • 2 years of experience in finance or accounting preferably in a construction or manufacturing-related environment
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, debits, credits, etc.)
  • Working understanding of financial statements, cost variances and cost drivers, and inventory methods
  • Strong computer skills
