About the role
- Operations Manager overseeing onsite operational and technical service delivery for a Medicaid PBM program in Boston, MA. Ensuring compliance, efficient operations, and stakeholder communications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across call center, provider relations, mail services, drug rebate, and clinical support functions.
- Serve as primary liaison with State Medicaid stakeholders.
- Ensure service delivery meets contractual, operational, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with technical teams on system support, issue resolution, and release management.
- Support operational reporting, data exchanges, and audits.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Lead and support operational change initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience leading operational teams in Medicaid, PBM, or healthcare environments.
- Strong customer-facing operations leadership.
- Experience with healthcare systems, data exchanges, and service delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for reviewing or troubleshooting data.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
- PBM or Medicaid program experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of NCPDP standards and healthcare IT interoperability (preferred).
- Project management experience (preferred).
