About the role

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for sustainable, high-growth expansion across all of Europe.
  • Full, end-to-end P&L ownership, with a track record of managing budgets, forecasts, and driving profitability.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a matrix environment, effectively collaborating with and influencing central teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Product) to achieve business goals.
  • Leverage AI-driven insights and market intelligence to understand competitor strategies, predict consignment trends, and ensure Collecting Cars' long-term competitive advantage.
  • Forge and manage high level strategic partnerships with storage companies, detailers, specialist dealer networks, car clubs, and tech adjacent brands to build an unrivalled vehicle
  • Master and optimise the entire sales technology stack (Salesforce, internal analytics tools)
  • Utilise sales analytics and BI tools to refine seller incentives, and regional tactics to maximise profitability and market share.
  • Act as a senior brand ambassador within the European collector community, representing Collecting Cars at premier automotive events, concours, and rallies.
  • Build and nurture relationships with strategic partners, acting as the ultimate point of escalation for high value, complex deals.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high performing team of country managers and [Country] EU markets.
  • Install rigour and consistency in daily operating rhythms: outreach standards, forecasting, pipeline reviews, KPI tracking, and coaching.
  • Raise the bar on talent density by building teams of A-Players who operate with urgency and ownership.
  • Build succession plans and accelerate the development of emerging leaders across the region.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a high value sales environment, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing managers and multi-country teams.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing long-term strategic sales plans and market-entry strategies.
  • Must be highly proficient with CRM (Salesforce) and modern sales technology. A strong ability to interpret sales analytics, BI reports, and data to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and HNWIs.
  • Proficiency in one or more additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Italian, Dutch).
  • Open minded, inquisitive and entrepreneurial mindset: you're adaptable to what we do and are constantly looking for opportunities for the company to evolve and grow.
  • Impeccable communication skills with the ability to present and influence credibly and effectively.
  • Experience managing the entire P&L for a business unit, brand, or region.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and accurately forecast revenue.
  • A strong track record of implementing strategies that directly result in increased profitability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe to meet partners and attend events (up to 50%).
