Responsibilities
Lead the overall enterprise-wide effectiveness and efficiency of all infrastructure systems, networks, and end-user support systems to ensure high levels of functionality, reliability, performance, and business alignment
Oversee, coordinate, and monitor all support, administration, and operational management activities
Responsible for high levels of infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, problem management/elimination, PCI compliance, and IT disaster recovery utilizing developed standards, procedures, and operational IT processes, monitoring for continuous improvement
Lead the development of the service strategy and technical roadmap and ensure its integration with the overall IT and enterprise strategic plans
Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning
Interact with and manage outside vendors, outsourcers, and service providers to procure and deliver technology products, services, and contracts. Ensure consistent quality and delivery of service across a tiered IT support model
Set the mission and vision of the team to foster a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques
Establish, monitor, and analyze performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure business and customer needs are satisfied.
Champion involvement in the IT organization's innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with new solutions to take advantage of business opportunities
Direct, lead, and motivate a function(s) to deliver results by communicating company goals and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
Requirements
7+ years of IT leadership experience within infrastructure technology disciplines
Strong knowledge in modern software, infrastructure, and mobile technologies
Project management and team management skills, across multiple teams, such as planning, budgetary control, people management, etc.
Up-to-date knowledge of methodologies and trends in both business and IT, with preferred experience with Agile methodologies
Knowledge and experience managing all aspects of cloud platform and services management in Microsoft Azure, as well as on-premise-based solutions
