About the role

  • Senior Payroll Coordinator overseeing bi-weekly payrolls and compliance in Florida for Valpak/Clipp. Driving payroll accuracy and supporting HR integration while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage standard bi-weekly payrolls for all employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculations of wages and resolve discrepancies.
  • Timekeeping: review timecards for accuracy and potential employee issues.
  • Train employees/managers on timecard process and policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records and employee information.
  • Process payroll/personnel changes including new hires and terminations.
  • Assist in tax registration and record keeping.
  • Process wage garnishments and respond to orders.
  • Prepare and file payroll tax reports and W-2s.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll issues.
  • Paycheck distribution for employees without direct deposit.
  • Assist with special projects and maintain confidentiality of payroll information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years in a related role within Payroll, HR, and/or Finance.
  • Paylocity and SAP experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of standard payroll practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Confidentiality in working with sensitive information.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Good follow-up techniques.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
