Responsibilities
Act as the product and sales expert for EndNote, with a strong understanding of client workflows, use cases, and value drivers
Translate customer pain points into solutions, demonstrating how EndNote delivers measurable value
Achieve/exceed territory sales plan by meeting retention and new business targets (subscription and transactional)
Forecast accurately to your direct manager with ongoing communication throughout each month
Work efficiently with customers and leads by following Clarivate’s sales cycle and defined Salesforce processes
Maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and articulate differentiation strategies
Build long-term relationships in the academic, government, non-profit, and corporate sectors in North America
Maintain adequate telephone, email, and MS Teams/WebEx meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management
Create and update account profiles, actively hunt for new business, provide quotes, set up demonstrations, and book deals in Salesforce.com
Share customer insights, product knowledge, and sales best practices across the team
Track performance against clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (4-year undergraduate) or equivalent relevant work experience
Microsoft Office Excel
Proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Teams, LinkedIn, Power BI, and ZoomInfo
Background working with universities, publishers, corporations, and government/non-profit organizations engaged in research and discovery
