About the role

• Team Lead at Clariness leading delivery of clinical trial recruitment projects in Berlin or Hamburg. Overseeing planning, execution, and mentoring teams in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting project teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery of clinical trial recruitment projects.
• Overseeing planning, execution, and monitoring across multiple studies and client accounts.
• Identifying, prioritizing, and resolving operational risks and blockers to keep projects on track.
• Driving portfolio-level performance reviews and reporting, providing clear and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborating closely with sponsors and internal stakeholders to achieve optimal study outcomes.
• Implementing process improvements and best practices to optimize operational workflows.
• Ensuring compliance with internal SOPs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all projects.
• Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project and/or operations management within the clinical trial industry, ideally in a leadership role.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex portfolios and multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to lead teams, resolve operational challenges, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with performance metrics, portfolio reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
