About the role

  • Vice President - Project Lead in Fund Services managing cross-functional teams for operational improvements. Leading strategic initiatives and ensuring on-time project deliverables within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects
  • Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log
  • Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents
  • Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones
  • Escalate project risks to the Project Director, or Project Sponsor, when appropriate
  • Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants
  • Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience on significant client change or implementation programs, preferably within Fund Operations/Investor Services space
  • Working experience and/or expertise around local/APAC landscape, environment, and specifics
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget
  • Continuous improvement and transformation-related skillset and mindset with proven track record of the same
  • Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Stakeholders’ management skills, ability to build long-term relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams
