About the role
- Product Filing Analyst responsible for drafting and securing regulatory approval for insurance contracts. Assessing regulatory impacts and conducting quality reviews for compliance and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, filing and securing regulatory approval of new group and retail insurance contracts
- Assess the impact of regulatory updates and changes on our products
- Conduct quality review of new contract documents
- Takes final generic contract documents and make state-specific changes
- Submit new contract documents to the state and manage state objections
- Manage new rate filings, advertising filings, regulatory filings
Requirements
- B.S. in Business Administration or other relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of group or individual life and health product experience
- Previous product compliance/state filing experience preferred but not required
- Regulatory research platform experience preferred but not required
- Claims experience or other experience interpreting insurance contracts is a plus
