About the role

  • Regional Sales Leader managing account teams for Cisco's State and Local Government and Education markets. Driving sales strategy and maintaining relationships within key territories.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Strategic and Best-in-class Account Managers
  • Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering on quota
  • Positioning and promoting Cisco value proposition
  • Build and maintain positive work environment
  • Direct customer contact comprising a large portion of the assignment
  • Reinforcing existing relationships in the state, municipal and education community

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology sales and/or strategic leadership experience
  • Ability to lead a dispersed account team
  • Strategic technical knowledge
  • Clear understanding of Public Sector Procurement Policies
  • Solid track record of leading large accounts
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets
