About the role

  • Marketing Specialist responsible for regulatory communications for Medi-Cal and commercial health plans. Collaborating with marketing and corporate departments to support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regulatory communications for members, brokers, and employers across Medi-Cal, Individual & Family Plans, and Commercial Group
  • Implement strategic communications plan and marketing initiatives in support of business development
  • Interface with Corporate Marketing & Communications Department for consistency in branding
  • Lead large marketing/communication projects/initiatives
  • Act as liaison to subsidiaries and develop annual marketing programs
  • Write, design and produce communication materials
  • Develop promotional opportunities for health plans and specialty companies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in an advertising agency, marketing communications or healthcare department
  • Healthcare and practical design (Quark, Photoshop, etc.) experience preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and/or creating and updating member-facing communications (e.g., collateral, emails, and letters)
