About the role

  • Business Development Executive focusing on client acquisition and relationships in Boston region for tax, audit, and advisory solutions. Leading sales strategies and executing growth plans in financial services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective new clients that can benefit from our services
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate with service lines to gain understanding of offerings and client solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM software
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and new growth opportunities

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of tax and audit processes and/or complimentary professional services
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in sales within the financial and/or professional services sector
  • Familiarity with research tools (such as ZoomInfo)
  • Professional and effective lead generation and prospecting skills
  • Mature understanding of the lifecycle of a business
  • Oral presentation skills
  • Basic familiarity with proposal responses
  • Excellent technology skills with solid experience in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience tracking leads and activity in a CRM system (MS Dynamics experience a plus)
  • Experience with solution selling into the decision makers at asset managers and investors
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and new business initiation goals
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience with attending industry functions and the ability to provide feedback
