Mortgage Administrator for Castle Trust Bank, providing mortgage support through a Broker network and managing loan applications. Overseeing application reviews, underwriting coordination, and broker communication with strong customer service focus.
Responsibilities
Manage a pipeline of applications and package each loan for approval by the Underwriting team
Conduct initial reviews of applications and perform credit and property checks
Support an underwriter buddy to gain knowledge in mortgage processing
Issue all documentation once the loan has been approved
Support the completions team to finalize the loan
Update and support broker partners and external sales teams throughout the application process
Provide updates, chase for documentation, and process valuation reports
Requirements
Telephone experience working in a busy and vibrant office, in either financial services or a similar customer service focused setting
Effective organisation skills and the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail
Previous experience in the mortgage underwriting process (advantageous)
Passion for delivering excellent customer service
Confidence working in a demanding environment and juggling simultaneous priorities
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
