About the role

  • Head of Talent Acquisition managing the recruiting process and strategies for Cartesian's North American operations. Leading the acquisition of top consulting talent for continued company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruiting process for all active roles across the North American business, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers.
  • Develop and execute creative recruiting strategies for sourcing quality candidates and manage the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle across multiple active roles.
  • Own and evolve Cartesian’s campus recruiting strategy, strengthening relationships with target universities and building long-term early talent pipelines.
  • Balance early career hiring with experienced candidate recruitment to meet business demand.
  • Lead, mentor and establish best practices for US Talent Acquisition team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and recruiting excellence.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to define and prioritize hiring needs that are tightly aligned with business objectives and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates, creating robust talent pools and networks for future hiring needs.
  • Strengthen Cartesian’s employer brand through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic presence within consulting, analytics, and TMT communities.
  • Leverage applicant tracking system (ATS) data and metrics to inform opportunities for process improvement, talent trends and candidate pipeline insights.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire and conversion rates.
  • Manage third party vendors as needed to support US Recruiting objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience
  • Experience building and scaling teams within consulting, professional services, analytics, or similarly rigorous talent environments.
  • Demonstrated success hiring both early career and experienced consulting talent.
  • Proven experience operating in high-volume recruiting cycles, building repeatable processes that enable efficient high-quality hiring at scale.
  • Strong track record of executive partnership and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong track record of recruitment excellence, particularly in direct sourcing and engaging passive candidates to build networks and talent pipelines to support strategic hiring needs.
  • Experience of managing, mentoring and developing recruiting professionals
  • Strong data-oriented mindset with experience leveraging ATS platforms and recruiting analytics to drive outcomes
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
