About the role
- Maintenance Manager overseeing best-practice maintenance strategies and team management in AG&T production environment. Focused on operational reliability and quality standards in processing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement best‑practice maintenance strategies that support production requirements across AG&T.
- Lead a team responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance activities to sustain and enhance asset availability, operational reliability, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement a maintenance strategy aligned with the company’s best practices for rapeseed and sunflower seed crush, refinery, and plant utilities.
- Manage the department budget and implement corrective actions when variances occur.
- Collaborate and coordinate with plant functions to effectively support the production process.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Prioritize maintenance activities and oversee maintenance execution to maintain asset reliability.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, making decisions related to talent management, recruitment, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in a production environment, specifically within maintenance operations.
- Experience in leading or managing teams, with the ability to motivate and coordinate staff.
- Experience in task management in several areas (electrics, mechanics, instrumentation).
- English proficiency (Intermediate) and German proficiency (Advanced).
- Demonstrated experience in budget planning and cost control within a maintenance function.
