Responsibilities
Provide a range of administrative support services in accordance with UNESCO rules and regulations
Assist with procurement, logistics and financial tasks
Support the preparation, review and issuance of documents
Contribute to monitoring project activities and budgets
Liaise with service providers in Burundi and the region
Provide administrative and logistical support for field missions, meetings, workshops and conferences
Participate in meetings as required
Requirements
Secondary, technical or vocational diploma
At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in administration, human resources, finance and procurement, or related fields
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including drafting correspondence and proofreading documents
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Good planning and coordination abilities
Demonstrated capacity to set priorities and organize one’s own work
Ability to take initiative and deliver timely, high-quality support and services
Ability to identify errors or irregularities and recommend corrective actions
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Very good computer skills, including use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent command (read, write, speak) of either French or English, and good knowledge of the other language
