About the role

  • Quality Engineer responsible for supplier performance monitoring and compliance audits. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality standards in automotive sector.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor supplier performance indicators and propose corrective and preventive actions
  • Work together with suppliers to develop continuous improvement plans
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical requirements
  • Participate in second-party audits and quality management system audits
  • Monitor the lifecycle of purchased components, from initial samples to mass production
  • Act as a facilitator between suppliers and internal departments to resolve technical issues
  • Manage PPAP revalidation
  • Manage complaints and validate corrective and systemic actions
  • Handle non-conformities for internal and external customers
  • Conduct technical meetings with suppliers and clients in English, presenting solutions and status updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with active CREA registration
  • Knowledge of quality tools (MASP, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
  • Previous experience in supplier quality within the automotive sector
  • Familiarity with the interpretation of IATF 16949
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering standards
  • Advanced English, with the ability to conduct meetings with clients
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • VDA 6.3 auditor training with active certification preferred
  • Availability to work on-site in Arujá, São Paulo
