About the role

  • Account Executive at IMA agency supporting delivery of creative campaigns and managing client accounts. Collaborating with the team to ensure projects run smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • As an Account Executive, you will report to a Group Account Director or Account Director and support the Account Manager and wider Client Experience team in the day-to-day running of each account.
  • You will take responsibility for ensuring all necessary administrative procedures are adhered to, keeping projects moving with energy and precision.
  • With a proactive mindset and a focus on detail, you will help maintain accurate reports and files while providing essential creative and financial support to the team.
  • You will attend and take an active role in all client meetings.
  • You will take minutes when requested and ensure contact reports are written and distributed as requested and as required.
  • You will attend retail installations and events which may sometimes be outside of work hours.
  • You will ensure that status and work in progress reports are updated and distributed every week.
  • You will keep job bags and electronic folders and all files up to date and complete at all times.
  • You will maintain accurate competitor sample files to support the team.
  • You will gather any information required to enable creative briefs to be written.
  • You will supply written briefs to obtain competitive quotes from suppliers as appropriate.

Requirements

  • You possess a solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising.
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • You have a high level of attention to detail and confidence in using Microsoft packages.
  • You have previous research experience and the ability to work as a reliable team player.
  • You demonstrate a positive and self motivated attitude and a willingness to take accountability.
