About the role
- Accountant handling emails, invoices, and financial reports at a cybersecurity firm. Working in a dynamic team, ensuring compliance and data integrity in financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Email management: efficiently handle and process a shared mailbox
- Supplier invoice entry and management: create supplier accounts and perform account matching/reconciliation
- Fixed asset recording: post and manage fixed assets in accordance with accounting standards
- Daily bank monitoring: perform daily follow-up of bank accounts
- Support the implementation of electronic invoicing
- Accounting knowledge for monthly closes: possess the necessary accounting fundamentals for month-end closing
- Liaise with statutory auditors
- Control of balance sheet accounts: perform regular balance sheet account checks
- Intercompany management: handle intercompany transactions
- Research and analysis: perform documentary research and analysis to resolve complex accounting issues
Requirements
- Degree in accounting (BTS Comptabilité et Gestion, DCG, DSCG or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in general accounting
- Proficiency with IT tools (Excel, accounting software, management tools)
- Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Rigor, curiosity and ability to prioritize
- Proficiency with accounting and management software
- Knowledge of French accounting standards
- Ability to use electronic invoicing tools
- Documentary research and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of balance sheet control procedures
- Knowledge of intercompany operations and intercompany management procedures
